Hello Linux Geeksters. There are some discussions that, around Fedora 23 to Fedora 25, Fedora systems will replace Firefox with GNOME’s Web Browser Epiphany, as the system’s default browser.
The Fedora developers are not happy with the fact that Firefox is now offering ads on the start page of new tabs and so, they are working hard at the WebKitGTK+ and Epiphany, to get it ready for mass usage. Also, they don’t see Midori as a good replacements because it’s lack of handling unverified TLS certificates.
The easiest way for bypassing Firefox’s new advertising method and keep Firefox is to install IceWeasel, the Firefox version rebranded by Debian. Despite the fact that IceWeasel is Firefox, the advertising feature has not been adopted on it.
