Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Canonical’s Tom Kijas has announced which are the 10 wallpapers submitted by the community, that will be used as default on Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet.
Ubuntu 15.04 will be released on the 23rd of April 2015, but the wallpapers will be included in the final beta version of the system.

To get the Ubuntu Vivid wallpapers and place them with the other wallpapers, on your system, do:
$ cd /usr/share/backgrounds
$ sudo wget "https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-wallpapers/+bug/1429011/+attachment/4338189/+files/WallpapersV2.zip"
$ sudo mv WallpapersV2.zip WallpapersV2.tar.gz
$ sudo tar -xzvf "WallpapersV2.tar.gz" && sudo rm "WallpapersV2.tar.gz"
Because the process of picking the default wallpapers is subjective, you should see yourself all the submitted wallpapers from the contest and download the images which you like. You can see all the images on Flickr.
