KMyMoney 4.7.2 has been recently released, bringing small fixes only.
KMyMoney is an open source personal finance manager which has support for different account types, categorization of expenses and incomes and reconciliation of back accounts. Also, it has support for importing and exporting QIF and provides online banking for the OFX and HBCI protocols.
The latest version available is KMyMoney 4.7.2, bringing small changes only:
- fix a crash in the transaction split editor
- added the monetary symbol of the Turkish lira
- matching restrictions on an already imported transaction were removed
Installation instructions:
The latest KMyMoney builds are available via PPA, so installing it on Ubuntu should not cause too many problems. All you need to do is add the PPA to your system, update the local repository index and install the kmymoney package:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:claydoh/kmymoney2-kde4
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install kmymoney
Optional, to remove kmymoney, do:
$ sudo apt-get remove kmymoney
The installation instructions should work on Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet, Ubuntu 14.10 Utopic Unicorn, Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr, Linux Mint 17.2 Rafaela, Linux Mint 17.1 Rebecca, Linux Mint 17 Qiana, Pinguy OS 14.04, Elementary OS 0.3 Freya, Deepin 2014, Peppermint 6, Peppermint 5, LXLE 14.04 and Linux Lite 2.
