A third party developer and Elementary OS enthusiast has created an Imgur Uploader Contractor Plugin for Patheon, the default file manager of the Elementary OS systems.
While the previous versions of the plugin was unusable due to the fact that Imgur has changed their API, the Imgur Uploader Contractor Plugin V3 has been updated and works with Imgur yet again.
When uploading multiple images, it automatically creates a album.

Installation instructions:
To install the Imgur Uploader Contractor Plugin V3 on Elementary OS 0.3 Freya and Elementary OS 0.2 Luna, all you need to do is add the PPA to your system, update the local repository index and install the imgur-contract package:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:cybre/imgurcontract
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install imgur-contract
Optional, to remove imgur-contract, do:
$ sudo apt-get remove imgur-contract
