As a reminder, Ubuntu Touch OTA-6 Update has been already released, the developers being focused on the OTA-7 Update, scheduled for release on the first week of October.
While the changelog is not yet available, Łukasz Zemczak has announced that it will squash a lot of bugs:
“OTA-6 roll-out for the first devices completed, so far no critical issues have been reported. Everyone prepares for OTA-7 now. We’re only finalizing some remaining changes, but the new milestone bug list is already in preparation,”
The full list of bugs that need to get fixed can be found here.
As a reminder, Ubuntu Touch is a stable operating system, but it is not mature enough, compared to Android and iOS. For now, there are three Ubuntu Phones: Bq Aquaris E5 HD, Bq Aquaris E4.5, Meizu MX4, but the system is also officially supported on the LG Nexus 4 device.
