The Steam Beta Client Has Received New Steam Controller Improvements

As you may know, Valve has decided to conquer your living room with their Steam Machines, which are Linux-based gaming consoles that run SteamOS and the Steam Controller, which is the first remote control that can be used to play shooters like Counter Strike.

The creators of Steam have updated the Steam Beta Client yet again, adding even more Steam Controller enhancements. Among others, support for renaming non-Steam game shortcuts via Manage Shortcuts in Big Picture mode has been added, the users can now perform fine tuning binding selections for non-Steam community configurations, support for saving legacy configurations for games that have different controller support has been added, the Steam Controller configurator has received improvements, multiple issues related to the ability to edit configurations have been added and migrating configurations for Steam Controllers has been made to work with non-Steam users that have special characters.

Also worth mentioning, some improvements regarding support for VR keyboard have been made.
