Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, the Intel Linux Graphics Installer is a tool created by Intel to help users install video drivers for Intel hardware easily. The latest Intel Linux Graphics driver is Intel Linux Graphics 1.0.4, which works only on Ubuntu 13.10, Fedora 20 and derivative systems (like Linux Mint 16).

In this article I will show you how to install the Intel Graphics Installer 1.0.4 on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander and Fedora 20.

How to install the Intel Graphics Installer 1.0.4 on Ubuntu 13.10:

Instructions for 32 bit systems:

$ wget download.01.org/gfx/ubuntu/13.10/main/pool/main/i/intel-linux-graphics-installer/intel-linux-graphics-installer_1.0.4-0intel1_i386.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i intel-linux-graphics-installer_1.0.4-0intel1_i386.deb

Instructions for 64 bit systems:

$ wget download.01.org/gfx/ubuntu/13.10/main/pool/main/i/intel-linux-graphics-installer/intel-linux-graphics-installer_1.0.4-0intel1_amd64.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i intel-linux-graphics-installer_1.0.4-0intel1_amd64.deb

How to install the Intel Graphics Installer 1.0.4 on Fedora 20:

Instructions for 32 bit systems:

$ wget download.01.org/gfx/fedora/20/i686/intel-linux-graphics-installer-1.0.4-2.5.i686.rpm
$ sudo rpm -i intel-linux-graphics-installer-1.0.4-2.5.i686.rpm

Instructions for 64 bit systems:

$ wget download.01.org/gfx/fedora/20/x86_64/intel-linux-graphics-installer-1.0.4-2.5.x86_64.rpm
$ sudo rpm -i intel-linux-graphics-installer-1.0.4-2.5.x86_64.rpm
