Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Elementary OS 0.2 Luna, based on Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin has been released in August 2013.
But the developers have started work at Elementary OS 0.3 Iris and have released a development version of it, being available for both i386 and amd64 architectures. For now, the development version of Elementary OS 0.3 still uses Midori, Geary and the Ubuntu Software Center and is based on Ubuntu 12.04, like Elementary OS 02.
Using its own window manager and desktop environment (pantheon), Elementary OS is one of the best looking Linux systems.
If you are a Linux enthusiasts you should try Elementary OS, which works very well on computer with modest hardware specs: 1 GHz CPU, 1 GB of RAM and 15 GB of space.
