Hello Linux Geeksters.Remember to backup all your Ubuntu One Data before the 31st of July, when the servers get wiped.

As you may know, Canonical has announced a while ago that Ubuntu One will be closed starting with the 31st of July, 2014. This decision was taken due to the fact that Canonical’s storage server could not compete with Google Driver or Dropbox.
Reminder: Export All Your Ubuntu One Data Until The 31st Of July

While it has been discontinued for a while already, the users are still able to download their Ubuntu One Data until the 31st of July. Also, Canonical has created a script that allows the users to easily download their data and partnered up with Mover.io for moving the Ubuntu One content to other file hosting services for free, while this is a paid service for exporting stuff from elsewhere than Ubuntu One.

So, starting with the 1st of August, all the data from the Ubuntu One servers will be deleted.
