Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Applist is an open-source python script that allows the users to test all the Ubuntu Touch applications inside a browser, without having to install anything. Also, it displays information about all the applications available.

As a reminder, the Canonical developers are working hard at the Ubuntu RTM branch, in order to provide a stable system for daily usage, until December 2014, when Meizu MX4 using Ubuntu Touch is scheduled for release.

Applist can be used on every Linux system which has python installed (all systems have python installed by default, so this should not be a problem).

Just download the script, set execution permissions and run the applist.py:

$ wget https://gist.github.com/jamestait/539788077e86c89bff7c/raw/c14ab5b3a34e2fcb5ccf354c290e4664dc6c33c0/applist.py
$ sudo chmod +x applist.py
$ ./applist.py
