OpenSUSE 13.2 Milestone 0 Comes With Kernel 3.14 RC, Btrfs And Support For Wayland

Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, OpenSUSE 13.2 Milestone 0 has been recently released, being available for download in the GNOME (GNOME 3.12) and KDE (KDE 4.12.2) flavors. OpenSUSE 13.2 will reach stability in November 2014, will be the first OpenSUSE system to be supported for 10 months, and not eight, like before.

OpenSUSE 13.2 Milestone 0 Comes With Kernel 3.14 RC, Btrfs And Support For Wayland

OpenSUSE 13.2 runs with Kernel 3.14 RC, the btrfs file system as a replacement for ext4, YaST got ported to QT5, Zypper has been updated, the KDE Frameworks 5 packages have been added by default, rpm reached version 4.11.2, Mesa 10.1 and freetype 2.5.2 have been added, systemd has been updated to version 210, pulseaudio has been updated to version, 5.0 and Wayland has been updated to version 1.4. Also, the wicked network management tool and dracut initrd have been set as default.
